Count Your Many Blessings

28 Nov

This Thanksgiving, there was so much to be thankful for. We have a Saviour who continually lavishes His love upon us; we have a roof over our heads, jobs that provide for us, food to satisfy us; we have each other; we have two beautiful, lovely gals who joined our growing family and became the sweetest sisters-in-law; we have a little princess who lights up our life; and we have a little boy on his way that we will soon welcome into this world! Life is good but God is great!

Every Thanksgiving, we have a yearly tradition of writing in a notebook the things that we are thankful for and the things we would like to see God do in the coming year if He so wills. We brought that little notebook out again and it was amazing to see so many things that were hoped for come true this past year. It’s with anticipation we look forward to what God is going to do this coming year! 🙂

It seems that holidays are a perfect time to take family photos. So below are a few that were taken. Unfortunately, my dear sister-in-law Melissa couldn’t stay very long due to her work schedule so we missed having her in our pics. Maybe we’ll get some “complete” family photos for Christmas!

Mom cooked up a storm and boy was it delicious! 🙂

She looked so cute in her jean skirt and little boots

Looking through the Black Friday ads 🙂

…and soon there will be 4!

Grandpop loves his special times with Anna

Over the holiday, I even got to see my cousin who I haven’t seen for years!
