Ming Tombs

Out for an evening walk

I had the privilege of spending this past weekend with two of my students, Wency and Lucy. There are dear sweet girls who showed me a wonderful time! It was relaxing just being able to take it easy but at the same time make some very special memories visiting the Ming Tombs!

the Ming Reservoir

Care for fresh baked sweet potatoes?

Me, Wency, and Lucy

the Emperor's robe

Empress's Crown - could you imagine wearing that headpiece?!

the throne - down in the tomb

snacking - the Chinese enjoy packaged meats

the craftsmanship and detail are phenomenal!

fun, happy times!

dinner with the family!
