Peruvian Delegation

14 Jun

Life has been an exhausting yet wonderful whirlwind.  This past week, just about every moment was spent with the Peruvian delegation. There were twelve men and three women. From meeting the advisor of the Minister of Interior, to a journalist, to lawyers, to business men, to a political analyst, and the director of a Christian organization, my heart was touched by each and every one.

This being my first delegation – I had the most fantastic time. Everyone was so gracious, kind, and friendly! We made a lot of special memories!  From sitting in meetings, rushing around picking up lunch, shopping till we dropped, sharing wonderful conversation over dinner, or just laughing and smiling – all in all, it was the most wonderful. It’s amazing how hearts can bond over a short period of time just because we share a common bond in Jesus Christ! It was tiring as some days I was getting up at 5:30 after going to bed after 1 am but it was so totally worth it. I wouldn’t have wanted to have it any other way!

The delegates seemed very inspired by the visions, encouragements, and teachings they received in the meetings with Mr. Gothard. This will be a great help to make Peru a better nation especially as a group from HeadQuarters will be taking a trip there and spending 6 days to encourage the nation in various aspects. Please keep Mr. Gothard and the team in your prayers, as they prepare their hearts, minds, and bodies for this wonderful opportunity!

I will be posting pictures very soon!
