Eventful Times

30 May

This week has been very interesting, to say the least. Work has been full, many of my dear sweet friends and co-workers have left for the Nashville ATI conference, and I have been given the responsibility and privilege to disciple a young teenager who attended this past Journey. Needless to say, life can change fast around here and you learn flexibility very quickly! 🙂

I’ve found that during times of weakness when I’m drained physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually that my Lord’s strength is made perfect in weakness. Please keep me in your prayers because I need them desperately. I need the Lord’s wisdom, love, and grace. I’m reminded of the song that says:

I can do all things
Through Christ who gives me strength
But sometimes I wonder what He can do through me
No great sucess to show
No glory on my own
Yet in my weakness He is there to let me know

His strength is perfect when our strength is gone
He’ll carry us when we can’t carry on
Raised in His power, the weak become strong
His strength is perfect, His strength is perfect

We can only know
The power that He holds
When we truly see how deep our weakness goes
His strength in us begins
Where ours comes to an end
He hears our humble cry and proves again

His strength is perfect when our strength is gone
He’ll carry us when we can’t carry on
Raised in His power, the weak become strong
His strength is perfect, His strength is perfect.

Here are a few pictures from the past two days:
