It’s Been Too Long

9 Apr

Well, it’s been over 3 months since I’ve been home and I’m happy to say that I am now surrounded by my dear sweet family and my precious little “baby” Sadie. 🙂

I flew in Wednesday afternoon and am looking forward to spending just over a week here in PA. Then, Lord willing, I will be traveling back to my home in Chicago with Thomas and Robin next weekend. They were planning on coming to visit me so we thought we’d hit two birds with one stone by traveling back together. It will be a long trip for sure as we’ll be traveling by car but I’m sure we’ll make lots of memories and enjoy happy times!

Please also keep my dad’s mom in your prayers. She had a mini stroke a week ago this past Wednesday and we just found out today from the doctor that she’s been having multiple mini strokes since then. She is being admitted to the hospital today and is pretty shaken up about everything. We don’t have much information concerning anything else but just trusting the Lord in all of this. Your prayers would be much appreciated.

Here are a few pics I took of the “baby”  the evening I arrived:

Sara says, “Come”. Sadie says, “Um, let me think about it”. She’s such a stinker! 🙂

Sadie’s so cute. You can’t bring her with you? I miss my little old man tuffie-he stays with my mom because I couldn’t leave him alone when I work 12 hr shifts. But I get to see him usually about twice a week. Anyway-enjoy your time with your family. I’ll be praying for your grandma.
