Intimacy Requires Privacy.

If we want to know God and experience a personal close relationship with Him, it is a necessity to set aside time to be with Him alone. We must leave all else aside – and just seek His face and commune with Him. Quiet our hearts before Him and listen for His still small voice. Speak to Him, sing to Him, and rejoice being in the presence of a Holy God.

We need private times with God to know His mind and heart. So as we ponder the thought that intimacy requires privacy, ask yourself:

“How intimate am I with God?”
