Sightseeing with Sheri

15 Sep

My dear sweet friend from Chicago came to visit me for a few days while I was at home. We had a wonderful time touring a part of Philly, taking pictures, talking up a storm, sharing stories, and making special (and even funny, heart-stopping) memories! 🙂

One afternoon, we took a tour of the Coal Mine in Scranton. After all, Northeast PA is the only place in the world that produces the most Anthracite coal.

We descended into the ‘deep and dark’ in this cable car.

Sadie warmed up to Sheri right away – she didn’t even bark. She liked her so much, it almost made me jealous! 😉  Here, I think Sheri got a little carried away with Sadie’s bows – haha!

Sara, I’m so glad you had a enjoyable time with your friend. Thanks for sharing the pics (the last one is my favorite).
