Faithful to the End

28 Jan

It’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted. Please forgive me! I ought to try to be more faithful in blogging! 🙂

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and soul-searching lately and so many thoughts have flooded my mind. Yet, one thing remains true: Our God is faithful and will continue to be faithful to the end. There may be times when our lives are billowed over in trials; times when are hearts are immersed in utter sorrow; times when all hope is lost; times when we’re walking through dark valleys – the Lord didn’t guarantee that we’d see the heavenly sunshine every day when we became His children. These are times when we can learn more fully what it is to depend on our Saviour and fall more deeply in love with Jesus and His Word. These are the times when we can see more of His glory and learn more of His character.

I want to encourage you to remain faithful to His calling and His purpose for your life even in those dark, dismal, discouraging days. Life and circumstances bring hurts, pains, fears, a

nd sorrows but these are opportunities that we can be more than conquerors through Jesus Christ alone!

We can’t always see the outcome or reason behind every situation. We may even often wonder “why?”. However we can rest in the fact that ALL things (absolutely everything) work together for good to them that love the Lord and who are the called according to His purpose.

As we go through hardships and as life brings its storms, He will lavish our hearts with His perfect love. He will calm all fears with His perfect peace. He will bear our burdens and ease our grief with His perfect joy. He will support us in those everlasting arms. But we must rely on Him and praise Him in everything. When He gives and then takes away, can we bless His name? When He tries us and purifies us, do we still sing forth His praises?

My dear sisters, no one can cheer the heart like Jesus and certainly know one can bring comfort to one’s soul like our merciful Heavenly Father. Sometimes, it is hard to remember that He loves us more than we can imagine and that He desires, not just the good, but the best for us in our lives. But it’s true and it will never ever change! He is Faithful!

So if you are struggling, I encourage you, as well as myself, to Trust Him, Believe Him, Call out to Him, Confide in Him, and fall more deeply in love with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

How very true! God is more wonderful then we will ever be able to imagine, and most of the time it when we go through the hardest times in life that God becomes the sweetest we’ve ever seen Him. Praise the Lord!
