‘Tis the Season

Thanksgiving is over and we are full blown into the Christmas season already! Our church is having another Friendship Dinner next Saturday, so we all arrived at the church for some major cleaning and decorating this morning. It was all done in about two hours – proving once again that many hands make light work! Now, we just have to work on our Christmas specials! 🙂

After our family got home and we caught our breath, we brought out all the Christmas boxes and started decorating our home. As this is our first Christmas here, it took us quite awhile to figure out where everything should go but it all got done in a decent amount of time; and it was great to have dad and the boys available to help put up the 7′ Christmas tree. Mom and I are quite pleased with the way everything looks and smells – of course, we have Yankee candle Winter Berries simmering in our potpourri crock. It just wouldn’t be the same without our aromatherapy! HA!
