Little Smiles

26 Oct

Mom and I had a great time babysitting two adorable little girls this past Friday. A family from our church had planned an outing and we were given the privilege to watch their two foster children for the day.Β

As my youngest brother is almost 18, you can imagine how much my mom and I have sorely missed hearing giggles and cooes and seeing little faces beam with the biggest smile when they can manage to walk across the room without tumbling or get a special treat when they say “please”. πŸ™‚ Β It was a wonderful feeling to sing “Jesus Loves Me” as the little ones rested in our arms, to help dry their tears, or to help the toddler pray with her head bowed before she ate her applesauce.Β It’s so easy to see why the little children are so precious in His sight!

Here’s a few pictures of the little cuties:

I just loved this – too precious!

I think story time is always my favorite.

Oh how cute! I has been so long since I’ve spent a lot of time with a little one. I need to find a baby at my church to “adopt” as my neice! : )

Simply gorgeous! πŸ™‚ Children always love a story read! I work at a kindergarten and I’m planning to become a nanny soon, and at any chance the children are always eager for a story… and another…and…. It just keeps going.

    Thank you for sharing.

You look so natural with children. If the Lord allows, I am sure you will make a great mommy some day!
