Friendship Dinner

20 Apr

This past Saturday evening, our church “Grace Covenant Baptist”, held a friendship dinner. My dad (the pastor) and our whole congregation wanted to be able to reach out to the community and share the love of Christ in a special way. Family, friends, co-workers, and even acquaintances were invited.  We were thrilled to be able to minister in song to about 55 guests and then serve a dinner in our fellowship hall shortly after!

What an amazing and blessed time we had! There was such a great response that we are hoping to host another dinner in the summer! May all praise be to our Lord and Saviour!

Sisters: Robin and Liz singing the first special

Ron Hamilton’s “Washed in the Blood”

April Roskos played a beautiful arrangement of “As the Deer”!

Singing “Lay all These Burdens Down”

I played two harp specials: “Jesus, Joy of Man’s Desiring” and “Amazing Grace”

Lots of food and fellowship!

A special highlight of mine was seeing one of my former piano students: sweet Fiona!
