Fun, Food, and Fellowship

7 Jan
Sunday evening, our family was blessed to be invited over our friends’ house (the Roskos’) after our church nursing home ministry. An evening of fellowship, intriguing conversation, iron sharpening iron, and much laughter certainly described our time with them!
As the lake was a little too slushy for ice skating, some of us decided to busy ourselves taking pictures – yes, even crazy ones! When it started to get too dark (and I was as frozen as an ice cube), we ventured inside for a wonderful spread. To sum up the evening, both families enjoyed a good game of “Catch Phrase” – the room was filled with bursts of laughter and sometimes everyone screaming at the same time. What a time!
Praise the Lord for sweet fellowship and friends that are a blessing and who mean so very much!
Below, are a few photos of us on the lake.

Hey . . . looks like you guys had fun. Hopefully the weather will turn cold again so the lake will stay frozen! I’m sorry I didn’t see Thomas while he was in, although Todd did see him up in a tree! πŸ˜‰

What a lovely winter post! I’ve never been able to walk on a frozen lake, slushy or not. It just doesn’t get cold enough here for long enough to freeze that well. I like the last picture with you and your brother! Too cute!

It was a blessing to get together again. I hope the lake freezes again so we can have
other people to ice skate also.
    fondly,
    !April Olivia!
