Caroling Downtown

16 Dec
Each year, we gather together and make a trip downtown to sing carols on the square. We give out tracts and candy canes and have a blast spreading some Christmas cheer!

Even the baby!!

Once again, the temperatures were low, winds were blowing, and we froze – but it was worth it!
* Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells *

Dad was even able to get a little street preaching in as some folks were waiting for the bus. Praise the Lord!

We then ventured into the ‘Martz’ bus company and sang some carols to the folks waiting there and even the employees.

To see some of these dear people reading the tracts, smiling because they hear a familiar carol, joining in with our singing, or just hearing them simply say “Merry Christmas!” is a blessing that can’t be taken for granted!

I remember caroling out in the freezing cold many a time! Now if it gets down to 40 degrees I don’t even want to go outside!
