Ladies Christmas Tea

15 Dec
This evening was a fantastic night of fellowship. We held our annual ladies’ Christmas tea here at our house. It was a night filled with fun, food, and fellowship! To eat, laugh, share, talk, and pray with other sisters who love the Lord is a blessing beyond measure! I just love all these special moments we can share together as we focus on our Saviour this Christmas season!
Usually, a devotional time is shared after our snacks; but this year, we did something different. My dad had purchased “Return of the Daughters” by the Botkin Sisters (see Vision Forum for more information). We all gathered in the living room and watched the documentary. It was such a good reminder for us young women to stay faithful to the calling that the Lord has given to us in our families and to rejoice in Him as we wait on Him to accomplish His perfect will in our lives.
Here are a few pictures from the evening!

What a lovely idea! Our family LOVED Return of the Daughters so much and were very encouraged. I love the idea of showing it a ladies tea! It looks like you all had a delightful time!

How lovely. I keep waiting for a friend to buy Return of the Daughters so I can see it 🙂 Tee hee. If everyone waits long enough, I might just buckle down and purchase it myself!

Sounds like you all had a nice time! Love the photos, the picture of the baby is adorable!! 🙂

We have been thinking about getting “Return of the Daughters” The other day we received a $25 passport to VF, which is nice. 🙂 It’s just so hard to choose what to buy! 🙂 I was encouraged by the Botkin Sisters book “So Much More” last year.

You are so blessed to have a group of like-minded young ladies to fellowship with. I watched this video with my sister and we really enjoyed it. We are kind of an army of 2 around these parts…not many people, even christians, would agree with or support the message found in this video around where we live… Sad. Thanks for your testimony! (And please pray for my sister and I if you think of it. Thanks!)
