A Successful Surgery!

6 Sep

We are thanking and praising the Lord for Stephen’s successful surgery. All went well with no complications. He was very tired and rested most of the day. The only symptoms he had were nausea and a few bouts of vomiting – which was rather hard – but all in all, he was a trooper!
He was released from the hospital this morning and is ready to jump back to his everyday life. We have to remind him that he just had major surgery and needs to take it easy!
Thank you for all your prayers and concern. It truly blessed our hearts.
We are still praying for his health. The final diagnosis of his thyroid will come back in two weeks after the biopsy. In the meantime, he will need to visit the doctor as his iron count (for some unknown reason) was extremely low. Usually the lowest count should be about 32 and Stephen’s was 4.
Thank you again for interceeding on his behalf. He is very grateful for everyone’s love and support!

Resting after the surgery.
Today’s shot….looking good already!
As Stephen rested, we took a pizza break
(in celebration of a successful surgery, of course!!)

Hello Sara! This is my first visit to your blog, which I found through MrsLaurenChristine. I just wanted to say Praise the Lord for your brother’s good recovery! God bless. 🙂
